Where Have I Been?

7228- Well, it has been some time since I posted and I have been busy getting ready to have lots of time on my hands. Earlier this summer, I decided that I wanted to travel more on my motorcycle and, although there was absolutely nothing wrong with my Road King, I had had that bike since it was new and I thought maybe it was time to get a newer more modern one. So I went down to test ride a new Road King and came away with a new Street Glide. I knew my daughter Whitney and her husband were thinking of buying a bike, so I called them and they decided to buy my trusty 1999 Road King, so it has stayed in the family, for now. Brandon flew down from Whidbey Island and we drove from Denver back to Washington to get his new bike home and then I took my time getting back to Denver with a stop in Salt Lake City to watch my grandson Dominic race his dragster in the NHRA Jr Drag Racing Western Conference Finals, where he made it to the Quarter finals. 
So far I have had the new bike slightly over 2 months and I have racked up over 6500 miles on it, a view of things to come when I really have more time. I have a trip planned to North Carolina next month (I’ll fly this time) and will probably get back to Washington again in October. For now, I am planning to retire at the end of October and then bar the door because anything is possible. I will try to be more current with my posts, but stay tuned.
